About Us
From an early age I spent many hours on the rivers, lakes and Oceans in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in the Wilsonville area our family, specifically my dad and I, would find ourselves fishing anytime we could. In between my days off I would look for a new area to fish, study fish counts and water levels in the different rivers and coastal towns. After 18 years with Les Schwab I turned my dream into reality. In 2016 Kruser Guide Service was originated. The preparation, time on the water and thrill of the catch was something I knew I would love to share with others.
Today you will find me guiding in Alaska during the year and throughout Oregon on the Suislaw, Willamette, Umpqua and Columbia Rivers. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, camping, traveling and spending time with my wife, Kati, daughter Kolbi, sons Asher, Tyler and Josh on our small farm in Elmira. I even get them out on the boat with me from time to time when we can! It’s exciting to see the joy in fishing with our kids and even when my wife can catch one. I hope to have the pleasure to share the love of being on the water, fighting the bite and landing a keeper with you and your families and friends.
